. peanut butter pie .

. i'm not one for making fancy, yummy desserts . i've never once made a cheesecake and i have no desire to . i stumbled across a peanut butter pie recipe the other day and thought it might be a bit difficult, but in the interest of trying something new and wanting to do something special for steve i tried it . and it turned out to be absolutely delicious . although i think i liked it a little more than steve .

. i found the recipe looking for something to make with my new food processor . if you want to try it check it out here . oh, and i'm not very good at following exact directions . 3 different times while i was making it i thought 'steve is so going to laugh when he hears how this went wrong', but when it was all said and done it turned out wonderful . the major thing i did different from the recipe was not put chocolate in the topping . next time i am going to try it with a graham cracker crust and cool whip on top, per steve's suggestion . the heavy whipping cream wasn't quite sweet enough for him and he loves graham cracker crust .
