. january is coming .

. tomorrow .

. yikes, that was fast .

. i'm going to welcome the new year with color .

. it's normal this time of year to be thinking of the future . new goals . ambitions . what was accomplished last year . what wasn't accomplished last year .

. i've been thinking and praying a lot lately about changes that need to be made in my life and i feel overwhelmed, fearful, inadequate, frustrated . i have to be prepared to combat these feelings and emotions when they come, and it will probably be next week, if not sooner, when they do come .

. a few truths that i know i can rely on when i'm weak .

. matthew 11:28, come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest .

. joshua 1:8, have I not commanded you? be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go .

. james 1:2-3, my brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience .

. isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength .

. philippians 4:6, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus .

. galatians 6:9, and let us not grown weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart .

. my favorite thing about all of this is i'm not alone .
