. derin and catherine are married .

. derin and cathy were married on saturday, what cathy had always thought would be a lovely october day . then the rains came . i have to say though, i wish everyone was as brave as cathy was . we had arranged to shoot at several different outdoor locations but because of the rain i suggested we stay mostly inside or at least around the church for photos . when i arrived at the church cathy asked if we could still go to the pond where we had arranged to do her and derin's first look . i of course was all for it, although it wasn't my dress getting rained on . there were a few showers we had to dodge but thankfully there was a gazebo close by . the first look was very important to derin and cathy . they even took a few moments after i shot some photos to do special vows together all alone . we ended up shooting bridal party photos just outside the church and only had to go in about 3 different times because of the rain . we made it work for sure, thanks to everyone being troopers . all in all it was a very lovely day, as you'll see .

. one of derin's brothers is in iraq and so of course was unable to attend, but we managed to get him in a lot of pictures anyway .

. during the ceremeny derin was prepared with kleenexes for cathy, it was so sweet . this is afterwards, he came through for her again .
