. denver zoo .

. one of my favorite things to do is go to the zoo . the animals amaze me every time and of course make me laugh . check out this giraffe . he was chewing his food and it was just funny looking . he stared at me for a good minute or two . 

. aww .

. the monkeys are always ready to give a little show . this one was right above us in a huge tree .

. i had never seen flamingos before so was anxious to see them and photograph them, as soon as we got to them we had to rush off to the seal show so i didn't get a lot of shots of them . but i do love this one .

. awesome bird . this color scheme would be amazing in a contemporary designed room . greys, off white, golden yellow, brown, with a touch of red . don't you think !

? where's waldo ?

. the snow leopards provided some entertainment . there were 4 of them and they played like little kittens .

. they were also quite hot . notice them panting .

. and the beautiful lions . might have been my favorite . although it would be hard to pick .

. the fam .

. so many memories in these photos . and in others i didn't post . like the handicap tag aunt sue :) aw, i miss the family, but am just so thankful for our time together .
